Description : Leading Hand Light Metal Fabricator

Dart Engineering Ltd is seeking a skilled Leading Hand Light Metal Fabricator to join our Queenstown team. We specialise in high-end architectural metalwork, including bespoke works on award winning projects throughout the central Otago region,

Key Responsibilities - including but not limited to:

· Fabricate and install architectural metal panelling, stairs, balustrades, joinery, handrails, gates, and other High end bespoke components.

· Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium materials

· Perform MIG and TIG welding to high standards

· Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

· Operate workshop machinery including guillotine and brake press

· Assist with site installations as required

What We Offer:

· Permanent full-time role with a guaranteed 42 hours per week. Monday - Friday.

· Company vehicle.

· Opportunity to work on diverse, high-end projects.

· Great team environment and well-equipped workshop.

· Based in beautiful Queenstown.

What We’re Looking For:

· Minimum 3 years relevant fabrication experience or formal trade qualification

· Strong skills in welding and light metal fabrication (steel, aluminium, stainless steel)

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

· Experience with guillotine and brake press.

· Experience working in both workshop and site environments.

· Full drivers licence, able to drive manual as well as automatic.

· Forklift licence would be an advantage but not necessary.

· Valid NZ work visa
