🎉👏 Celebrating 15 Years of Service! 👏🎉
Congratulations to Shaun Muir on 15 years with TDM Construction.
Shaun started with TDM Construction in February 2011, kicking things off on the Ring Road project. He quickly made a name for himself as a rough-as-guts rooster from Gisborne. 🐓😅
From there, Shaun worked his way up through the business to become a Head Drainlayer. Still rough as guts, but with clear skill, grit, and a genuine drive to progress. That led to Shaun becoming TDM’s second Project Manager, stepping into the role at a time when there was little structure or support and figuring it out as he went.
Throughout his time with TDM, Shaun has been big on protecting the culture he started with back in the Peter Black days 🤝 and making sure that culture continues as the business grows.
Always keen to improve how we operate, Shaun took ownership of GPS development within the business, teaching himself from the ground up. He’s now critical to all GPS capability across the company and a go-to for site teams.
Outside of the day-to-day, Shaun is also heavily involved in helping run TDM events, particularly the Annual TDM Golf Day ⛳😄, quietly doing the work behind the scenes to make sure they run smoothly.
Known by many as our most famous employee, Shaun is also an ex Counties rugby stalwart 🏉😂. Still rough. Still straight up. Still getting it done.
