A little change of scenery for Emma and Phoenix. ✨

They headed away for the ATA NZ Awards for Excellence, celebrating the people, skill and craftsmanship behind New Zealand's industrial textiles industry.

A night to get dressed up, enjoy some good company, and celebrate the work that goes on behind the scenes at Tasman Canvas.

And with multiple awards coming home to Tasman… we'd say it was a pretty good night. 🥂

A few familiar faces at the ATA NZ conference.

It's always good to step out of the workshop, catch up with people in the industry and have a few good conversations along the way.

A little look back at a special few days for the Tasman Canvas team.

Phoenix and Emma packed the Tasman bag, headed off from Motueka and made their way to the ATA NZ Awards for Excellence.

It was a chance to celebrate the work of our industry, catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, and spend some time with others who understand just how much goes into making things well.

And, of course, there was a little bit of excitement about what the evening might bring...

Sometimes the best solution isn't a brand-new cover.

This boat cover just needed a few alterations from Emma to get it back to doing its job properly.

Good canvas work can often be repaired, adjusted and improved rather than replaced, keeping a perfectly usable cover going for longer.

That's good for the boat, good for the wallet, and a whole lot less waste.
