Have you ever felt the need to have more arms in order to finish more at the same time with accuracy and precision? Are you spending big money to have a small part made by another company? Do you need to offer practical education on cnc machining? Fed-up of making multiple cut-outs with a jigsaw/bandsaw? Well, now is your opportunity to do exactly that. With a Craftsman CNC Router, you can have al

l day production while you continue with other things. After surveying thousands of people, only a very small percentage actually new about CNC and an even smaller percentage understood how it works. Others new that they needed it, but it sounded to complicated to deal with. Almost everybody expected it to be huge machines requiring massive floorspace. The majority felt it is too expensive or that their business is too small to justify such an expense. At Craftsman CNC, we took notice of this survey and with our very own in house engineer and software composer, we came up with a very affordable solution. The Craftsman CNC Router comes in different sizes and can be used by the home-based hobbiest, a small manufacturing business or even a large business, needing to make specialised components. It is also a perfect solution for educational institutions to train future CNC operators on. Craftsman CNC is located in Papakura, Auckland. Every Craftsman CNC router is manufactured locally on our premises allowing for low overheads, resulting in delivering every machine precision made at a very competative price. Made from high quality steel, the sturdy Craftsman CNC router typically consist of a gantry that moves in the X and Y axes, and a tool spindle that moves in the Z (depth). The position of the tool is driven by stepper motors. It includes a fully functional, built in computer, pre-loaded with an operating system and a CNC control program. Optional extras such as cutter bits, dust extraction kits, duckting, 4th axis, HDPE worktable, machine stand and CAM software is also available. With a Craftsman CNC router, possibilities are endless. You can engrave or cut wood, soft non-ferrous metals like aluminium, plastic, foam, acetal, acrylic and many other materials. It is ideal for hobbies, engineering prototyping, product development, artwork, and production work such as door carvings, interior and exterior decorations, wood panels, sign boards, wooden frames, moldings, musical instruments, furniture, printed circuit boards. The list is as big as your imagination. A Craftsman CNC Router is not suitable to mill ferrous metals, ie steel.
