We’ve had a busy run of events lately, and we’re proud to have been part of them — from the Manawatu Pony Club Show Hunter Champs, to the Central Districts Dressage Premier League Show, and the Central Districts Show Jumping Champs.

Supporting these shows means a lot to us, and hearing from riders who’ve competed at the events we sponsor is always the highlight. Your messages, photos, and stories remind us why we do what we do.

Thanks to everyone who got out there, gave it their all, and shared a bit of their journey with us. Keep them coming — we love hearing from you.

Extremely proud to be the main sponsor for the Central Districts Show Jumping this weekend.

We'll be floating around tomorrow and Sunday so come say hello if you see us.

Resealing a well‑overdue horse truck roof that’s been leaking for far too long.
Sealant doesn’t last forever — and when it finally gives up, the water always finds a way in.
With the drier months rolling in, it’s the perfect time to get this sort of job sorted before next winter hits again.
A fresh, professional reseal keeps your truck dry, protected, and ready for the road.

🐴 A new float for Vicki and her team

This Millennium 2000 straight‑load is heading home with Vicki, ready to carry Brax, Black and Monty in comfort and safety. We built this one with the same focus we bring to every Float Factory job — solid engineering, practical layout, and tidy finishing that stands up to real NZ use.

Strong frame, smooth ride, clean lines, and all the little details that make loading and travelling easier for both horse and rider. Proud to see another Float Factory build rolling out to a good home.

❄️ Winter is the perfect time to get your float sorted ❄️
Cold months usually mean fewer trips on the road — which makes it a great time to book in repairs, servicing, and maintenance for your horse floats and trailers.

With the season slowing things down a bit, it’s an ideal window to tackle the jobs you’ve been putting off. Getting ahead now means you're ready to roll when the busy season hits, Brakes, flooring, rust repairs, welding, electrics — we can tidy it all up while your float’s off the road.

📩 Flick us a message to lock in a spot.
Keep your gear safe, reliable, and ready for spring.

🐴 Here's a project we’ve been quietly chipping away at...

We’ve been working with Ararimu Float & Trailer Hire on a full fleet of four brand‑new horse floats. One float after another moving through the workshop as the frames, panels, and interiors come together.

Today we’re excited to show a bit of progress: floats 2 and 3 are nearly finished, with the last of the fit‑out and checks happening now.
Float 4 is queued up next, ready to hit the build table.

If you’re a rider in the area who might need a float soon, now’s a good time to follow along. Once these are in service, locals will have more hire options available — something the community has been asking for.

Get in touch with Ararimu Float & Trailer Hire now if you're in need of a float for short or longer term lease because once these hit the road they won't be available for long.

Nothing beats hearing it straight from the people who tow our floats every day. Here’s a quick word from some of our customers about their experience with Float Factory and the care we put into every build.

Float Factory was stoked to back the Trans‑Tasman Highlander Championship at the Rural Games — a showcase of strength, skill, and proper grit. Proud to support the athletes who put it all on the line. Catch the highlights on TVNZ One this Easter Saturday at 4pm.

The ultimate custom Float Factory build — engineered for riders who want comfort, freedom, and serious capability on the road.

Designed from the chassis up with horse and rider comfort and safety at the centre, this float delivers a calm, secure travel experience for your horse while giving you all the comforts of home.

This build is fully kitted with solar power, on‑board water, a hot shower, gas oven, air compressor, massive storage, and two full‑size single beds.

Built right here in NZ, it’s more than a float — it’s a mobile basecamp built for safety, comfort, and real adventure

Dakota is a young Northland Bush Pony who was mustered in 2024 and later welcomed a surprise filly, Dolly. After Dolly was weaned, Dakota began her gentle training and has been with her current owner since late 2025. This float was purpose‑built to give her a safe, calm start to travelling — and what you’re seeing is only her second time ever loading. It’s a great example of how thoughtful design supports a green pony’s confidence, and we genuinely enjoyed working on this special project for her.
