Another big project underway for the Gatch Works team 👍

Today we started groundwork on a 360sqm pole shed that will become a commercial workshop.

Absolute beauty location out here in the sun. Nothing but good energy here on site with the team!

A moment for the Gatch Works crew 🧡💙

On site, the boys are tight knit. There’s genuine friendship, support, and respect for each other that only comes through shared experience and working side by side each day.

Pictured here is Cully who joined our team 5 years ago as a gateway student, turning up to his first day on site in his Palmy boys uniform 🤣 Now he’s in the senior year of his apprenticeship. He’s responsible, polite, and has been with us through some big life milestones. He’s family 🤙🏻👏

Grateful for the people we have around us.

Three games in and the Gatch Works Thirds are still undefeated 🍻🏉

The season started with a hiss and a roar with a win against Massey. The boys were a bit rusty, but made up for it with enthusiasm. Luke Hall got himself a concussion early and was sidelined (some would say it’s all part of a long-term ACC strategy). We’re looking forward to seeing him back out there soon 🍻

Round two against Bulls was another classic Thirds affair. Plenty of passion, questionable discipline, and enough carry on that the ref called the game 7 minutes early after the other team looked like they were more interested in fighting than footy 😅

Last weekend was OBM Club Day. Huge turnout, awesome atmosphere, and great to see so many families around the club.

Off to Pahiatua next weekend before the mighty 100th Centennial Game 💥

We are giving away $200 worth of fuel vouchers to one lucky person as a way to spread the work and get some eyes on our club ⛽️💰
