And that is a wrap...well, nearly. 👀

What a rewarding year it has been at Bennetts, and thank you to all our customers for their support throughout the year.

Our team will be taking a well-earned Christmas break next week and enjoying some time to relax and recharge for the New Year. We hope you all have a wonderful break during this time.

A reminder that we will be shutting on Friday 19th December and reopening our gates on Monday 12th January, ready for business.

Nothing goes to waste at Bennetts. Every part of the log is used, from the main cuts to the offcuts and sawdust. It makes sense for the business and for the environment.

We plan our work so every piece has a use. The aim is to get the most out of every load that comes through the mill and leave as little behind as possible. That approach keeps the mill efficient, the waste low, and the timber put to good use.

Quality at Bennetts Sawmill starts with the timber we use. We mill New Zealand Oregon, Macrocarpa, and Larch because they are reliable and suit what our customers need. Each log is graded and sorted before it reaches the line so it is matched to the right job.

We use modern Wood-Mizer equipment throughout the milling process because it helps us keep quality consistent. Our team monitor the process and makes sure every run meets the standard we work to.

We are proud to be working on the new Arumoni Developments project in the heart of the Rangiora Business Park.

This project consists of a 680m² commercial build that will soon be ready to welcome its future occupants. It has been a pleasure to supply roof purlins, wall framing, and timber blocking to support the construction, ensuring strength and reliability from the ground up.

It is great to see our timber being used in another quality local build.
