Lowes Hire & Engineering is the leading outdoor power equipment store in Opotiki.
We are the authorised dealer for premium brands such as Husqvarna, Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Masport and Kawasaki.
About the role - You’ll be servicing a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including:
* Push & Ride-On Mowers
* Chainsaws & Weedeaters
* Blowers & Hedge Trimmers
* Generators & Water Pumps
* Battery powered equipment
* Robotic mowers
From routine servicing to deep-dive diagnostics and tricky repairs, no two days are the same. If you’re the type who gets a kick out of fixing things others can’t, you’ll feel right at home here.

What we're looking for in our ideal candidate:
* Solid experience working with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
* Small motors experience with strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical.
* A high level of competency using a PC for diagnostics, parts lookups and troubleshooting.
* Fit and energetic as the job does require heavy lifting.
* Be organised and tidy in your work with the ability to multi-task.
* Having initiative and an ability to work unsupervised.

This role is a full time position Monday- Friday and rostered Saturdays.
