Andrew Nickson started A&K Plumbing and Drainage in 2019 with one ute. Now there's about 25 of them, and they've just taken on their first big subdivision in Masterton.

First job on site: clearing a block full of trees between houses. That's where the Heli-Tilt and Multi-Grab on their Kubota U35 earn their keep.

"Our Heli-Tilt coupler and our Grab-Bucket work really well in a clearing situation like this because we're able to break down trees from the top, bring them down safely and in a controlled manner, and then use the same grab bucket to tidy up."

Cheers for having us on site, Andrew and the team.

Hill country work is hard on gear and harder on operators. Uneven ground, wet clay, and a finish that has to hold when the rain comes through.

If your crew's on slopes this season, send this to the operator running them. Want to see the setup on your own job?

Fuel prices shifting. Budgets landing. Confidence wavering.

Attach2 CEO Gem Hart asks the question our industry can't keep dodging: have we gotten too comfortable? 🤔

The machinery's ready. The people are ready. It's time the pipeline caught up.
