Huge congratulations to IKEA and DHL Supply Chain on your success at the 2026 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards. IKEA Auckland Store was named winner of the Yardi Retail Property Award, while DHL Supply Chain’s purpose-built Auckland Airport facility took out the CBRE Industrial Property Award.

We’re proud to have played a key part in both projects, delivering high-quality door and dock solutions that helped support the performance, functionality, and operational demands of these exceptional developments.
A special acknowledgement as well to the teams behind the build and delivery — Naylor Love, who constructed and project managed the IKEA Auckland Store, and Macrennie Commercial Construction and RDT Pacific for their critical contribution to the DHL project.

Ever noticed ice building up around your cold storage doors? That's not normal - and it's costing you.

Ice forms when moist air enters your freezer. That moisture is harder to chill, which means your refrigeration system has to work overtime just to maintain temperature.

The knock-on effects add up quickly:
- Ice on walls and ceilings increases maintenance work and downtime
- Ice on the floor creates real slip and vehicle hazards
- Ice or snow on products and packaging can reduce their value
- Ice on door curtains causes faster wear, shortening the life of the door itself

Many of these issues are accepted as "part of cold storage." They don't have to be.
