Waimahara is one of those projects.
A meeting place for art, community, culture and collaboration, where every element has meaning. From the flowing forms of Kaynemaile to light, sound, waiata and movement.
Created with Graham Tipene of and an extraordinary collective of mana whenua artists, composers, designers and makers, Waimahara invites us to slow down, look, feel and listen.
It is a remembering of water, of Te Waihorotiu flowing beneath our feet and of the deep connections between people, place and whenua.
Kia maumahara ki te wai.
Kia whakarongo.
Kia hono.
