𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗺𝘂 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲.
Working in Patunamu Forest, northwest of Wairoa, this recently delivered Tigercat LS857 is already proving its worth with the team at Ridge High Logging.
Fitted with a Duxson FX142 grapple, the crew wasted no time putting the new machine to work, carrying out both cable-assisted felling and shovelling duties. The challenging terrain provides the perfect testing ground for the LS857's latest features and capabilities, and this machine is already showing why it's built for some of New Zealand's toughest forestry conditions.

It didn't take long for operator Jake to put the 632H through its paces, and his first impressions were extremely positive. Jake was particularly impressed with the machine's increased arch power and overall performance, along with the intuitive controls that put everything within easy reach.

Congratulations to Lawson Roxburgh and the team at Roxburgh Contracting, South Otago, on taking delivery of New Zealand’s first Tigercat L857 Feller Buncher.
The new L857 incorporates several key design enhancements, including a heavier-duty boom and stick specifically engineered to run fixed felling heads, larger lift cylinders for increased lifting performance, and an additional six degrees of tilt compared with the previous model.
Completing the package is a Woodsman Pro Ensign CFH1400 Fixed Felling Head, designed for high-production felling.
The Tigercat L857 paired with a Woodsman CFH1400 Fixed Felling Head, creating a powerful, high-production harvesting package.

Hawkes Bay logging contractor Gone Bush Logging has taken delivery of a new Tigercat LS857 shovel logger. Featuring Tigercat's levelling undercarriage, it's the perfect machine for tackling challenging terrain.
Fitted with a SATCO SAT630E directional felling head, this combination delivers a highly productive mechanised felling solution.
The new Tigercat is already hard at work in the Kaweka Forest, where operator Tom wasted no time putting the first tree on the ground.

Family-owned, Horowhenua based, Mitchpine sawmill recently added their first Hitachi | LANDCROS wheel loader to their fleet, the chosen model is the ZW180-7 fitted with Ensign Log Forks. The ZW180-7 is being used for everything from loading and unloading trucks, yard stockpiling and timber pack handling
The ZW180-7 is an efficient, versatile machine well suited to a range of forestry and mill applications providing the strength needed to handle large log bundles and heavy timber products. In addition, the cabs design and large glass areas provide excellent sightlines to the attachment and working area, helping operators safely place logs and work around trucks, and processing equipment.
