Congratulations to Nelson Branch apprentice Liam Jennens on achieving his Trade Qualification in Automotive Engineering – Plant & Equipment Level 4!
Liam joined the Nelson Branch in 2023, transferring his apprenticeship from the marine industry into heavy road transport. In October last year, he made the move across to the EQ side of the business, where his true passion lies.

Owner Chase Sheridan was looking for a well‑spec’d zero swing excavator to suit his civil drainage and excavation work, operating remotely on the East Coast. This medium sized 13-15 tonne class excavator fits the bill perfectly, fitted with handrails along with a few other smart extras including the latest design Doherty Couplers and Attachments rotary tilt coupler, wide bucket enabling Chase to put this ZX135-7H straight to work.

It is early days, but operator Ken was impressed with the power and performance of the Tigercat LH857 offered with the extra tilt due to the sloped tail and also the good lift power.
