Howard Material Handling is a small to medium sized business. We have been selling industrial lifting equipment and general materials handling equipment in the Wellington region for over 25 years. We have a diverse range of customers who come from the construction industry, engineering works, transport companies, abseil operators, manufacturers,film and stage industry and marine and yachting publi

In addition to selling product, we offer a range of services, including testing and certification of lifting equipment, manufacture of wire rope slings, chain slings, heavy duty sack barrows, climbing nets, wire rope ladders, and repair of hoisting, winching and lifting equipment. The strength of the Howard Material Handling brand in the Wellington region is due to their specialised range of product, product knowledge and services that support this industry. Materials are sourced internationally from France, Sweden,
Asia, and Australia for the products that are not manufactured
in New Zealand. We support our imported lines with parts and service and also distribute for other importers.

YES we even splice and rework old ropes ..... 20mm multiplait shortened to remove damaged section - covers shifted - respliced and whipped..
