An eyelet/rivet with a wide fl**ge has been sourced. After searching high and low, ordering, waiting and testing various types for over a year I am now have a solution I'm happy with. Not an electronic part or an electrical one but a component by YKK for attaching a dome fastener. They are too long so they get filed down to the required height. Now the TE Cortina Ghia/S-pack and F100 performance printed circuit can be sold.

I received the mech for the '69 Cougar. It fits perfect, so no adjustments required which is great. Next step is to draw the copper traces.

Working on the design C9WF-10C956 which is for a '69 Cougar. So far the outline has been drawn. The file has been sent off for manufacturing. Once it arrives it will be placed onto the steel housing and carefully checked for alignment. If all is well the next step is to draw the copper and mask layers.

Well yes it has taken me ages. I have been occupied with building new work from home premises which includes garaging so I can bring my XC home and get stuck into it. So here is the the completed artwork for the F100 and TE Ghia Cortina printed circuits. These new designs have been audited and are now in production. I shall have them for sale in perhaps 3 weeks.

Due to customer feedback the HK VDO style printed circuit has been modified. It is now produced with a thicker substrate and has a darker green appearance. When the change was made to the superior polyimide material it was produced in the same thickness as the Ford printed circuits. The Ford circuits had a good weight to them and they tended to sit flat. The HK design has a lot of copper void areas which reduces the weight and stiffness so compared to the Ford circuits it seemed flimsy and tended to curl up rather than sit flat. These new ones sit much better. Thank to everyone for your feedback.
