Labour Weekend means different things to different people.
For some it's fishing. For some it's camping. For some it's getting away for a few days.
For gardeners, it's decision fatigue.
Manure, Pot-ash or blood and bone? Agria or Moonlight, maybe Ilam Hardie? Trench or mound? How deep? How far apart? Have I planted them too early? Too late? Should I have asked Dave down the road?

It's a weekend packed with important choices. Yes, it's time to plant the potatoes!

Labour Day is a national holiday. Coincidence? We think not.
It was created to give New Zealand enough time to plant its potatoes.

It's good to have something to look forward to.

It doesn't always have to be the big things like holidays or special occasions. Sometimes it's as simple as a walk on the beach after work, catching up with mates, sitting down with a coffee, or taking a little time for yourself.

Making space for the things that recharge us helps us show up better for the people around us too.

This week, make sure you've got something to look forward to.

Look after your mates, but don't forget to look after yourself.
