Working at Height Training Changes - Effective as of 1 January 2026

What’s Changing?

☑️Learners will now get more time to practice
☑️Working at Height unit standards 23229 and 15757 will be run as separate courses
☑️Training will be hands-on, practical, and based on realistic workplace situations

New Working at Height training with ITA

US 23229: Essential Height
(Previously included US 23229 & 25045)

➡️ Use safety harness systems when working at height
➡️ 1 Day training session
➡️ Required before progressing to Unit standard 15757

US 15757: Advanced Height
(Previously included US 23229, 25045 & 15757)

➡️ Use, install, and remove temporary height safety systems and anchors
➡️ Prerequisite: US 23229
➡️ 1 Day training session

US25045: Height Safety Equipment in the Workplace

➡️ Prerequisite: US 23229

US17600:
➡️ Stand-alone unit standard, still available if required

With the festive season approaching, our team will be taking a well-deserved break to rest and recharge.

We will be closed from Monday 22nd December and will be back in the office from Monday 5th January, with training starting up from Tuesday 6th January.

2026 Training Schedules (Jan - March)

We’ve been advised by TW Civil & Infrastructure that works will commence next week to install a sewer line along the centre of Coventry Road. Over the following six weeks leading up to Christmas, the project team will progress—starting at the Cedenco Yard at the end of Coventry Road—in 50-metre stages to help minimise disruption to nearby businesses and traffic.

We understand this may affect your staff attending training sessions during this period. To help reduce any inconvenience, parking will be available on the grass area on the opposite side of Tomoana Road, as well as further along Tomoana Road itself. We kindly ask that staff allow extra time for parking and, where possible, consider carpooling to training.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding while these important works are completed.
