The benefits of our new finished goods store are really coming into their own. This "part-pallet rack" is a great use of space to store the varieties of apples we're not currently packing. It means the boxes stay in good condition until they're ready to be topped up.

Delivered 4 weeks ahead of schedule, our new finished goods cool store is fully commissioned and ready for the 2026 apple harvest. Many thanks to Tuatara Structures as the lead contractor as well as our direct partners Hillmac Electrical Limited, Active Refrigeration and Store Pro for the pallet racking.

The finished goods coolstore continues to take shape. These photographs were taken in the past fortnight.

The project is continuing at pace.
The panel in the main store will be largely complete this week and the roof cladding will be installed.
Electrical and refrigeration will start next week.

Coolstore progress update.
The concrete floor is in and the insulating panels are being stood up. Meanwhile the exterior cladding is happening with another team simultaneously. It's taking shape every hour, the progress is swift and smooth.
