Not all fabrics perform the same when the heat is on.

Outdoor heaters, BBQs and other heat sources can create real risks around outdoor blinds and shade systems. Thatā€™s why Rainbow Shade supplies Fire Retardant shade sail and blind materials to NZ AS1530.2.

Itā€™s been a busy few months across the industry! ā˜€ļø

In our latest eNews, there's lots to take notice of before the busy season. As well as our highlights from the ATA NZ Conference & Awards, we're highlighting new opportunities for shade in schools, what a strong El NiƱo could mean for outdoor shade, plus we introduce Suzanne from the Rainbow Shade team.

Spring has a habit of throwing everything at us. ā˜€ļøšŸŒ§ļøšŸ’Øā›ˆļø

So here's a timely reminder of just how tough Z16 Architectural Shade Cloth (and our entire range) really is.

This footage comes from the Gold Coast hailstorm back in 2013, where 38mm hailstones travelling up to 177km/h put the fabric to the test. More than a decade later, and with a crazy El NiƱo on the way, it's still one of the best demonstrations of Z16's remarkable strength and resilience.

Thanks to the unique stentoring process used during manufacture, the fabric is designed to recover its shape after extreme loading.

If your customers are thinking ahead for spring, now's a great time to remind them why quality matters.

Feel free to share this with your customers.
