A TRT 2.5m Wide 3 Axle Non-Steer House Trailer recently played a part in a first-of-its-kind Australian project.

Used by C.D. Wilson And Son's the trailer transported a nine-star passive prefabricated home more than 160km from the Yarra Valley to Victoria's Bass Coast, with the move completed using a Volvo electric truck.

Designed to support mining, infrastructure and renewable energy projects, the trailer gives Freo the flexibility to manage oversized transport movements with greater efficiency. Its modular design can be quickly reconfigured to suit changing project requirements, helping minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

A recent trip to Picton gave our Hiab team the opportunity to catch up with the crew at TCC Boats and take a look around their impressive operation.

From fishing and mussel vessels through to luxury launches, TCC Boats are building and maintaining a wide range of vessels for the New Zealand marine industry. While on site, we saw a NZ King Salmon fishing vessel on the hard undergoing maintenance, equipped with a HIAB 201 Marine Crane.

We also had the chance to check out their barge operation, featuring two HIAB cranes affectionately known as Grandma (CLX 128) and Annie (X-HiPro 358).
