We started out designing and building equipment for the airline and pneumatics sector over 40 years ago in Hamilton, New Zealand. RML Machinery started taking on projects from other industries, and soon expanded into a full in-house machinery building service. In the early 2000s we branched out into robotics and autonomous vehicles. Today we are recognised industry leaders in Production Automation and Component Manufacturing, servicing customers in New Zealand, Australia, India and the US.

When Australia’s leading flavoured cream cheese manufacturer, Moondarra Cheese, needed to scale production & improve packaging quality, they partnered with us for a custom automation roadmap.

Key Transformation Highlights:
🔸$1M+ in Annual Savings: Moondarra were able to move staff into higher-value roles by eliminating manual line packing, which also dramatically lowered processing costs.

When Prolife Foods needed to scale up production of their famous Mother Earth Oaty Slices, our team saw a design challenge we could solve.

To meet their needs, we engineered a custom Continuous Motion Cartoner packed with smart features:

🟠Compact Footprint: Engineered to fit into a tight factory space without compromising speed.
🟠Smart Robotics: An ABB robotic arm side-shifts collated bars into cartons, keeping line motion continuous.
🟠Rapid Changeovers: Tool-less, repeatable adjustments using dedicated change parts and counter winders.
🟠Built to Last: Designed for single-operator oversight, this machine has been running 24/6 for over a decade.
