Hi Guys,

We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused person to join our team.
This role is hands-on and varied, covering assembly, quality control, and order preparation.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly of rifle suppressors and firearm components
Quality control of machined parts as they come off CNC machines
Visual and dimensional inspection of parts
Packing and dispatch of customer orders
General workshop assistance as required

Requirements
Current New Zealand Fi****ms Licence (essential)
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to follow processes and quality standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable working in a workshop environment

Desirable (but not essential)
Mechanical or engineering background
Experience with quality control or precision components
Previous workshop or manufacturing experience

This is a full-time permanent position for an experienced trade qualified or equivalent CNC Programmer Machinist to join our production team.
As a highly experienced CNC Programmer Machinist you will bring your technical expertise and in-depth knowledge to program and ‘hands on’ extensive work experience delivering excellence, enjoying success and strong growth. You will be rewarded for your contribution!
Key qualities of an ideal candidate
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a CNC machinist Trade Certificate (or equivalent technical qualification)
- Your experience running CNC machines Fanuc, Okuma with confidence. Be able to run and maintain all cnc machine shop equipment, using safe work practices and conduct
- Be able to work the entire tooling package required to machine the components
- Machines to be worked on include Victor twin spindle multi Axis lathe (Fanuc), Okuma twin spindle multi axis lathe (Okuma osp), Okuma 3 axis with 4th axis attachment machine centre and Small two axis lathe (Fanuc based).
- An eye for detail and exceptional accuracy with all CNC machining tasks
- Be able to problem solve
- Be self-motivated
- Be process driven to meet targets/projects deadlines
- Be customer services focused, with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Be confident, outgoing and have great interpersonal skill set
- Be physically fit
- As this company produce firearm related parts you will need to be comfortable around fi****ms. A fi****ms license is beneficial or be willing to obtain one.
- Be willing to undertake a drug test and undergo a Ministry of Justice (Police) criminal background check

We are looking for someone to run our bead blasting cabinet and to help out with parts inspection and looking after our cnc machines.

You will need
-An eye for details
-Be self-motivated
-Reliable and punctual
