Last weekend, Greymouth was lucky enough to host the Model A Rally, and it was awesome to see so many people from all around the South Island making the trip down the Coast with their Model A’s.

There was such a great atmosphere throughout the weekend, with plenty of beautiful cars, great stories and a real appreciation for these pieces of history.

For us, it was extra special. Ian’s father, Joe, bought his Model A back in 1981, and it’s still in the family today, so we’re proud to be continuing the family legacy. ❤️

A great weekend celebrating these classic cars and the people who keep them going!

Do you know what powers your aluminium?

Producing just one tonne of aluminium requires approximately 13–14 MWh of electricity. With that much energy involved, the source of the electricity matters.

Depending on where aluminium is produced, the smelting process may be powered by coal, gas, or renewable energy such as hydroelectricity.

At New Zealand’s Tiwai Point smelter, aluminium production is powered predominantly by renewable electricity from the South Island.

For architects, builders and homeowners, choosing NZ-made isn’t only about where a window or door is assembled. It’s also about understanding the energy, manufacturing capability, and supply chain behind the aluminium itself.

Choose locally made aluminium windows and doors from Nulook®.

There’s something important behind every locally made window and door: local knowledge.

Our windows and doors are manufactured right here in New Zealand by people who understand our homes, building requirements, and conditions.

Choosing locally made means supporting New Zealand manufacturing while choosing windows and doors made for the place they’ll ultimately call home.

Face of Wall Internal Sliding Doors✨

This customer selected face-of-wall sliding doors from the Hallmark Classic Collection in the Merivale design.

We supplied the doors for the builder to install, featuring the Brio Open Rail internal sliding system with face-fix hangers in a Matte Black finish.

A clean, modern sliding door solution that adds a great feature to the space while keeping things practical and functional.

We really enjoyed bringing this laundry together.
A utility space that is organised, streamlined, very practical and beautiful.

The generous benchtop provides plenty of room for sorting and folding, making life easier.

We love the warmth and texture that Laminex Sublime Teak brings to the room. Paired with Prime Panels Aspen Stone Matt Laminate, it creates a natural and timeless feel that keeps the space light and fresh.

The Mercer Aurora Bowl in Gunmetal adds a lovely touch of sophistication and ties the look together.

The finished result is a simple, beautifully balanced laundry that is minimal in appearance but highly workable for everyday life.

It was a pleasure working with our customer again on their new kitchen for their new build.

Having done their kitchen years ago, we truly appreciated the opportunity to work with them again.

With a great eye for style, they knew exactly the look they wanted to achieve. The process was seamless, like the finished kitchen.

The selection of Laminex Sublime Teak, with its warm timber appearance creates a beautiful organic, established feel.

For the cabinetry, the Ezi Venice continuous handle in a Gunmetal finish adds a refined detail, while the Dekton Kreta Bench Top
(By Rhodes Monumental Ltd) in a soft grey tone brings balance and warmth.

Finally, the recent tiling ties everything together perfectly, resulting in a kitchen that feels inviting, cohesive, and beautifully finished.

We were also grateful to be able to provide the Oak Timber finish to the balustrade.

The owners have also done this superbly, separating the kitchen from the main living area, while maintaining a living space that flows seamlessly.

💚 Supporting Our Community - Paroa Park Redevelopment 💚

As a local business, we are proud to support the Paroa Park Redevelopment and contribute to a fantastic project for our community.

Our Sotheran’s Chocolate Wheel 🍫🎡 made an appearance on the night, and its great to see people getting involved, having a bit of fun and getting behind the redevelopment.

A great community initiative and one we are proud to support.💚
