Well done and deserved Geoff, congratulations
Power Farming is proud to share that Geoff Maber has been appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) in the King’s Birthday Honours, recognising his lifetime of service to agribusiness, the rural sector, and the wider community.
From his early days at Maber Motors in the 1960s, Geoff helped transform a small Morrinsville family business into what is now Power Farming Group, one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned agricultural equipment and machinery companies. His vision, leadership, and deep understanding of the changing needs of farming helped build the foundation of the business we are proud to be today.
Under Geoff’s leadership, Power Farming has grown across New Zealand, Australia, and the USA, built on strong partnerships, local ownership, long-term relationships, and a genuine commitment to people. That people-first approach remains central to who we are and to the success we continue to build together.
This honour recognises not only Geoff’s contribution to the growth of Power Farming, but also his lasting impact on New Zealand’s rural economy and agricultural sector over more than 60 years. It is a proud moment for everyone at Power Farming.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to have Craig and Brett involved in the business and helping lead the next chapter of Power Farming.”
Geoff, on behalf of everyone at Power Farming, congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for the commitment, leadership, and support you have given to our people across New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.
“If there’s one thing I’ve learnt in business, it’s that you have to have the energy to win.” - Geoff Maber
