🚁 Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter 🚁

Dan was recently up in Nelson carrying out some servicing on one of our rescue trolleys, keeping it in top shape and ready for when it’s needed.

From design and fabrication through to servicing and maintenance, we’re proud to see our equipment out there supporting the teams that rely on it.

Your Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter hangar, rescue vehicles and helicopter have come a long way since this photo was taken in 2001.

While our helicopter is the most visible part of our service, the facilities that support it are just as important. Thanks to our community, we've been able to maintain - over many years - the resources we rely on every day.

Gears, shafts and spindles. ⚙️

A few shots from around the workshop recently, machining, turning, milling and getting stuck into a range of jobs. Dan completing some post-hardening machining on our popular QM600 Spindle Gears. While Dalton has been busy on the manual mill, cutting some new teeth.
