Lubrication Engineers NZ Ltd

Lubrication Engineers NZ Ltd Lubrication Engineers are suppliers of high-performance Lubricants, Lubrication Equipment

Investing in better performing lubricants can make your plant more reliable by protecting your equipment and keeping it running longer and more efficiently. LE NZ Ltd distributes a comprehensive line of high-performance lubricants that far exceed conventional lubricants in a variety of industrial and automotive applications. By significantly reducing downtime and maintenance costs, LE lubricants a

re also cost-effective, returning the initial price of the lubricant many times over. LE's enhanced lubricants are made of highly refined based oils – either petroleum- or synthetic-based – as well as the following proprietary additives, which LE developed for exclusive use in its lubricants. Almasol® solid wear-reducing additive is able to withstand extremely heavy loads, chemical attack and temperatures up to 1,900°F (1,038°C). It is attracted to metal surfaces, forming a microscopic layer but not building on itself or affecting clearances. Monolec® liquid wear-reducing additive creates a single molecular lubricating film on metal surfaces, vastly increasing film strength without affecting clearances. Duolec® dual-acting additive imparts synergistic properties to lubricants, providing both wear-reducing and extreme pressure protection. It increases film strength and is temperature-activated to provide a protective layer. Quinplex® impact-resistant additive contributes to outstanding water resistance, tackiness and mechanical stability, and helps to form a barrier against corrosion.

Experiencing Failures, Clogging, or Caramelization with Your Oven Chains?

Problem Solved: Ovenworx® H1 Syn Chain Lubricant (LE4061)

A major baked goods manufacturer in Alberta, Canada, was facing frequent chain failures due to caramelization of their old lubricant and nozzle plugging. The buildup of raw material combined with oil residue even led to occasional fires. Their goal was to find a single lubricant that could be safely and effectively used across all bakery ovens while reducing fire risk.
After switching to Ovenworx® H1 Syn Chain Lubricant (LE4061), the company eliminated both caramelization and nozzle-plugging issues. They now use LE4061 plant-wide — on all tortilla, bread, and muffin ovens.
The customer reports that before using Ovenworx, they were replacing oven chains every couple of years, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars each time. Three years later, they continue to use LE4061 with no issues and no complaints.

Lubrication Engineers New Zealand Ltd was established in September 1985 by Bill Ellis & David Macdonald. Run from a small warehouse on Rosebank Rd, Avondale, Auckland. Bill started out with a boot load of products & driving around New Zealand, demonstrating the LE difference.

Fast forward 40 years, Lubrication Engineers NZ is now one of 60+ global distributors, working together to offer lubrication solutions over all industries, with full factory support from Lubrication Engineers Incorporated (Wichita, USA) founded in 1951.

Many of our valued customers have been purchasing LE products since 1985.

We are very proud to represent the Lubrication Engineers brand in New Zealand, and we would like to thank you for your support over the past 40 years.

Adopting sustainable lubrication practices is not only environmentally responsible—it’s also economically smart.

Implementing a well-structured lubrication program isn’t just good for the environment—it’s a sound financial strategy. Proper lubrication enhances equipment uptime, improves operational efficiency, and reduces overall maintenance costs.

High-performance lubricants, like those from LE, enable extended service intervals, decreasing maintenance frequency and conserving valuable resources. When these lubricants are supported by precise and consistent condition monitoring, they deliver long-term, reliable performance.

A compelling example comes from the use of Duolec® Industrial Gear Oil LE1605 (60 litres), which has been in service for over 10 years—filtered just once with a LENZ offline filtration trolley (3-micron filter).
Oil analysis reports from this application clearly demonstrate how premium lubricants and best-in-class maintenance practices can lead to significant cost savings and a reduced environmental footprint.

Do you achieve these results from your gear oil?

19/03/2025

Lubricant contamination is one of the leading causes for machine failure, and contamination can begin before the lubricant enters the machine. Gearboxes, pumps and reservoirs have to "breathe" when the air expands and contracts, as well as incoming fluid displaces air, or when air is drawn in when hydraulic components activate. Each time a unit breathes in, it brings with it all sorts of small debris and moisture, depending on the operating environment. Over time, the effects of this contamination can be damaging to the lubricant and to the equipment.

Water-contaminated oil can lead to additive stripping, and eventually the water can cause corrosion and rust. Small particulates no larger than three microns can cause unwanted machine abrasion. All of these problems accelerate wear and lead to costly repairs. The simple solution is the use of desiccant breathers, which can stop water and particulates from contaminating the lubricant.

Get started to today:
Eliminate rust-foaming condensation
Prevent sludge deposits and water contamination
Reduce wear and tear on equipment and provide longer oil and filter life.
