Hey everyone we are having this problem with our new GR corolla (still under warranty) where the carpet has collapsed due to a design flaw leaving a massive void under it. Toyota New Zealand are saying its perfectly normal for a car 18 months old with 12,000kms on the clock despite the fact that our other 6 toyotas we own (and every other car ive ever seen in my 20 years of business) dont have this problem.
Toyota nz want us to pay for a remedy.
Apparently we arent supposed to be putting our feet on the floor!
What do you guys think, am I being unreasonable? OR should Toyota step up admit there is a fault and fix it?
