Thinking of selling or buying a residential property?

Flood hazard mapping is becoming a part of due diligence in Auckland.

Where a site is identified within a mapped area, it often requires further clarification before a transaction can progress with confidence.

In practice, this can introduce additional time into the process while the level of risk is properly understood.

As a result, more flood risk assessments are being done before listing, so the right information is on hand if questions come up and buyers aren’t put off unnecessarily.

We recently got the team together for a pizza night. Dietrich ran the pizza oven, and as you can see, he definitely delivered. 🍕

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day of projects, deadlines and sites, so it was nice to slow down, have a laugh, and spend time together outside of work with our partners and children included.

Not every project is straightforward.

This Sandringham site sat within a Special Character Area and flood hazard zone, meaning design, planning, and compliance all had to align from the start.

Today we pause to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served.

Our own story is part of that history. Thomas Tripp Andrews, our founder, served in WWI on the Western Front before returning home to continue his career in surveying.

We honour his service, and that of all who came before us.
