History
Our beginnings go back to 1929 when the Tunnicliffe family started their native sawmilling business in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The company later merged with MWG Timber and Hardware Limited (Morris, Walsh and Garfield), a business which gained momentum while the town of Kawerau and its pulp mills were being built during the 1940s and 50s. In 1997 the processing division was sold as a se

parate business, including its staff and expertise, and took on the old original family name again. Present Day
Tunnicliffe's is based in Edgecumbe, Bay of Plenty and has been taken over by two families the McCabe's and Andrew's on the 1st August 2018. The two new directors being Scott McCabe and Mark Andrew collectively having 25 years experience in the timber and building products industry. Their journey has only just begun with big plans to dominate their fields in Bee Woodwear, Joinery, Treated timber and Eco Wood + More!
