A manual conversion is never just a gearbox swap... ๐Ÿ‘€

Gage had already tracked down a fresh R154, but like most people doing a conversion, he wasn't 100% sure what was actually needed to finish the job properly.

That's where we came in.

We put together the complete list of brand new genuine Toyota parts needed for the conversion, including all the little pieces that are so often forgotten. And yes... even a brand new R154 doesn't come "complete." There's still a surprising number of genuine parts required to get everything working exactly as Toyota intended.

As Gage is planning on turning things up later on, we also sorted him out with a Cusco โ˜† Exedy pull-type clutch and lightweight flywheel combo. It's the perfect upgrade for a bit more power while retaining the factory pull-type setup and a really nice, street-friendly pedal feel.

One thing we're seeing more and more is genuine JZX parts quietly being discontinued by Toyota. Every year the list gets a little longer, making it harder to complete these conversions with brand new OEM components. If you've been thinking about a manual conversion or freshening up your JZX, now is the time to get in touch before expensive second-hand parts become the only option.

Can't wait to see this JZX100 all buttoned up and back on the road... maybe with a tough engine setup under the bonnet too. ๐Ÿ˜

Some of you may recall the A31 Cefiro build we featured a while back,
Well after a few unrelated set backs. Its back and in full swing.

The car is now fully pannel painted by our good friend , and how good does it look with the silver bay. ๐Ÿ˜

We've supplied a massive haul of various new parts and its almost back to being a roller very soon!

A few small things to button up and some replacement, stiffer Swift springs and its finally on the ground!

The car now features:

โ€ขGp Sports- G master premium coilovers
โ€ขNissan Silvia S14 hubs and knuckles up front, with large R32 GTR rear hubs
โ€ขDmax Japan S14 steering rack with all new tie rods and rod ends
โ€ขGk tech castor arms
โ€ขCusco swaybars front and rear

In the rear we've had the subframe blasted and powdered coated in Vibrant pink (how sick does it look)
โ€ขWelded in the Gk tech subframe strengthing kit
โ€ขGk tech solid subframe bushes
โ€ขFitted a bunch of Hardrace arms
โ€ขNismo factory length lower control arms
โ€ขGk tech toe arm brace and spherical bushes where the arms meet the knuckle
โ€ขProject Mu -D1 spec handbrake shoes paired with large the large DBA rotors
โ€ขR32 Gtr 2way diff with the awesome PRP diff hat
โ€ขFresh hardware EVERYWHERE ensuring an easier process come cert time

I can't wait to finally see this thing with its new wheels mounted. Its getting exciting, and were just really getting started. She's gonna be a monster!

Josh had allready sourced a number of items for the swap but came to us and we got him right with everything he still required, along with a few other goodies to tidy up the car, such as the new door latches. A must on a 25+ year old car!
