Drill Connex is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of a Pagani TG63-150 CPTu Rig near Brisbane, Australia—marking the third unit delivered into the Australian market in recent months.
This Queensland-based TG63-150 has been configured with a comprehensive suite of testing capabilities, including a full CPTu kit, DPSH kit, SPT kit, Seismic CPTu (true-value) system, rotary head, Shelby sampler, and the DS44 environmental sampling kit with liners.
Weighing just 1,100 kg, the TG63-150 offers an impressive 15-ton CPTu push capacity, delivering exceptional performance in a compact and highly portable platform. The rig can be supplied in a static configuration for CPTu-only applications, or in a static/dynamic configuration to support a broader range of testing methods including CPTu, DP, DPH, DPSH, SPT, rotary drilling, and dynamic sampling.
The TG63-150 penetrometer is also ideally suited for use with Marchetti DMT and SDMT systems, utilising the same rods and digital cable. The Marchetti MEDUSA DMT/SDMT units continue to gain strong traction among clients requiring high-resolution soil investigation, particularly in very soft soils and sediments.
For organisations seeking a nimble, lightweight, and cost-effective CPTu testing solution with extensive capability—or for those interested in Marchetti DMT/SDMT probes—please contact Glenn at Drill Connex (Australia, New Zealand, or the USA) to discuss a solution tailored to your requirements.
