Cont... "Although I am not a risk taker I feel safer with it on because over time situations arise and one needs as much protection as possible.

Over my career as a rural GP I have attended 5 Quad bike rollovers.

All but one were sensible farmers just doing routine stuff on undemanding terrain. 3 of them had broken their necks and one his spine lower down. Although none ended up paraplegic it took a very long time for them to get back to work and they had a disability be it chronic pain or loss of movement for the rest of their lives.

So I say do as much as you can to protect yourself from the unexpected. The lifeguard is still the best protector I have seen on the market. " Harry, Waihi.
