It was a busy lead up with a test close to Petit Le Mans race week where we left with a solid race car. Race weekend threw up its challenges which took some navigating but by the time the race rolled around we were in a decent spot for the package we had.
Super busy race on the timing stand with what I think was the most yellow periods there’s ever been for this race, certainly felt like it ⚠️
Rain, lightning, red flags, contact and surviving wet track on slicks all made for a busy strategy race. Plenty of time spent trying to make something from nothing and plans having to flip upside down as the race went on.
We were in a strong place for a podium at the end on fresher tires than all in front of us and picking off cars until some awkward contact scuttled that in the final sprint to the end.
Amazing progress by Triarsi Competizione over the 3 seasons we’ve been together where we’ve grown from a single car team learning the ropes to a 2 car effort with stacked lineups, great crew and a serious engineering group where the expectation is podiums each event.
Thanks to Onofrio Triarsi Kenton Koch Robert Kwon Megennis for the season together on my car, great bunch of guys that worked together so smoothly. And Samantha Spires for pulling it all together for us and making it look easy!
