Otago Farm Machinery & Stihl Shop Cromwell is proud to support the Lake Dunstan Clean Up Group — a small but mighty team of four local men who came together on 7 January 2026 to tackle “the lakeshore access, or lack of, in some areas.”
They’ve already completed nine working bees, pruning, clearing, and preparing the lakeshore between the Webb pump bunker and the old Water Park site — about a kilometre of track. Their goal is to have the physical clearing work completed by October 2026.
To support their upcoming mulching and maintenance work, we’ve donated:

This group is entirely volunteer driven and operates as a sub group of the Lake Dunstan Charitable Trust, alongside a growing list of local businesses pitching in with equipment, storage, transport and materials.
