The most common source of false alarm activations are:
😷 Lack of appropriate ventilation
❌ Alarm faults

Today is a special one here at Fire and Emergency. Today, we stand up our new unified national structure.

17 District managers start in their new roles. They take over the responsibilities of our former Area managers and principal rural fire officers. They will lead the day-to-day management and planning for Fire and Emergency’s activities in their Regions and Districts.

Auckland will remain at Alert Level 4 until at least 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 August, with a review on Monday 30 August.
