Wanted: Structural Engineer.
This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer who wants to grow into a leadership position and help drive the business over the next 5 years. This role suits someone who not only understands design theory, but can also deliver practical, buildable solutions and confidently support projects on site.
What youโll be doing:
โข Structural design for residential and commercial projects
โข Seismic assessment and strengthening design
โข Use of structural analysis software to develop efficient design solutions
โข Preparing clear, practical, and buildable working drawings
โข Responding to RFIs and supporting projects through construction
โข Carrying out construction monitoring and site inspections
โข Working closely with clients, builders, and contractors
What weโre looking for:
โข NZ trained engineer, overseas applicants considered if familiar with New Zealand codes and standards
โข Strong experience in structural analysis and design software
โข Proven ability to deliver both residential and commercial projects
โข Experience in strengthening and retrofit design is an advantage
โข Ability to translate design into practical, buildable details
โข Confident in dealing with builders and resolving site issues
โข Clear and professional communication skills
