New stainless pipework for the Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant
We’ve replaced the 450mm and 350mm underground aeration headers at Pines for Corde, using Schedule 10 stainless steel.
This job had a few challenges. We needed more pipe than suppliers in New Zealand had in stock, so it was specially ordered from overseas. The old pipe was buried, so we measured and fabricated each new section as it was dug up. Each changeover also had to be finished inside a 3.5 hour shutdown so the plant could keep running.
Every section went in on time. Great work by the team, and thanks to Corde for working with us.
