Today some of the crew took a break and went out supporting Geraldine Multi Challenge a great community group. The team ran walked biked Tyrone Grace was seriously quick and stood on the podium. Thanks Ty and family for your organisation skills on entries food and drinks. I think today the dads managed to hold off the kids but I think it’s about to change in coming years. We’re proud to sponsor and support community events.

We are members of the NZ fluid power association. We have also been involved in development of the fluid power level 3 qualification. Now we have enrolled 8 of our technicians in this qualification. ATNZ apprenticeship training NZ do the delivery. We are supporting this because it’s good for our technical staff. The reality is that most if not all of our team are already operating at a higher level but now we can evidence it.

Bit of a nod to one of the innovative companies in NZ Hamilton Hydraulics’s has pretty much touched every nz hydraulic company from its early days. Whilst no longer trading in hydraulics a significant number of talented people have shared knowledge that the current techs and sales staff have benefited from.

Back on site for a day testing. This time we’re on control of spill gates and this year it seems they’re needed more than ever.

This week we had the pleasure of acknowledging Rob Philips ticking up the impressive milestone of 25 years with Scarlett Hydraulics’s. Those that have dealt with Rob will have benefited from his industry knowledge. We appreciate his leadership in the business but also that he’s a bloody good bloke. It’s humbling to have our team members choose to dedicate these impressive years of engagement to our organisation. The normal smoko shout and a token of appreciation marked the occasion.
