Not every day on-site is the same, a crane day is usually one of the bigger ones.

Nick our Timaru Sales Professional was at Waihi School project where despite the weather, Henderson Building and Fitzgerald Steel were busy lifting steel into place and pushing the build forward.

Big lift days take plenty of planning, coordination and trust between teams. Once the crane arrives, everyone needs to be ready to make it count.

Dad isn’t a title, it’s a role.

Not everyone has a father, and not everyone’s relationship with their dad looks the same. Sometimes that father figure is a stepdad, grandad, uncle, older brother, mentor, coach, neighbour, or simply someone who has always been there when you needed them. They’re the ones who offer advice, lend a hand, teach us what they know, encourage us when things get tough, and show up when it matters, the list goes on...

So this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating all the different kinds of ‘Dads’, the people who choose to guide, support, encourage and care. Because being a father figure is about so much more than being a Dad. Also it is a time to remember the dads and father figures who are no longer with us but forever continue to be a part of who we are.

This September we're taking a moment to support a cause that impacts thousands of Kiwi men and their families.

From the buildings sites and workshops, to warehouses, factories and offices, prostate cancer affects people from all walks of life. Chances are many of us know someone who has been affected or will at some stage in our lives.

That's why we're supporting Blue September with Sutton Tools NZ Limited to help raise awareness for an issue that touches so many kiwi families.
