It’s bloody hard to find a better background than the snow covered mountains in Central Otago.
This site completes our Central Otago tour of 4 civil builds in the area and one pole stand. Planning by the client to complete these jobs one after the other keeps gear in the area greatly reducing mobilisation costs which is a big expense when moving heavy machinery around the place. Huge effort by Rick on these who has seen all these sites through from start to end.

Theo and Paul have been busy on upgrades to Connexa towers. This involves some additional bracing steelwork plus some site welding which Theo makes look easy!

A bit of nightshift mood lighting while the boys are working in central Otago.

The Avant (shown in the photo), tractor, transporter and crane truck got an outing to a site near Sheffield, Canterbury which has quite a steep access track. This site needed 36 ton a ballast blocks added to the foundation as part of an upgrade. We knew this site was going to be a challenge and it didn't let us down. Even with the Crane truck undertow with some blocks on, the track was too steep and we ended up unloading and ferrying the blocks up to the waiting crane truck. Fortunately we had expected that would be the case and had some gear there to help. The 360 degree view from this site is pretty epic!

It’s a busy week!

Some of the team are in Queenstown installing a roadside tower foundation. Some are traveling north to do site maintenance and others completing civil works in Clarence. Nice wee shot this morning at Clarence 👌
