After servicing the Marlborough region from our Nelson branch for 20 years, we decided it was time to open Blenheim Forktrucks Limited. We started our lease on the first of February, unfortunately that was the same day that our office was flooded in Nelson - so we haven't been there as much as we planned. However we do often have people in the area, sometimes at the base but mostly out on jobs.

Now that the Nelson office is back up and running we’re spending a lot more time in Blenheim and the surrounding Marlborough region. We offer a variety of services to suit you and your business. Whether you’re looking to purchase a brand new or used forklift we can sell you an electric, petrol/LPG or diesel with a load capacity to suit your business. If you already have a machine we offer a planned maintenance service where we regularly inspect and service your machine around your schedule. Preventative servicing is very important to keep your machine in a safe working condition. By using our Planned Maintenance program we can save you money in the long run, get faults fixed before they break and cost more money in repairs, not to mention expensive downtime. We have two authorized Warrant of Fitness officers so we can check your machine and make sure it’s road worthy. Another service unique to Nelson/Blenheim Forktrucks is our Safe Equipment Compliance inspections or SEC. BFL carries out NZ Standard Safety Checks to the NZS B56.1 – Approved by NZ Standards as the Safety Standard for Low and High Lift Trucks, powered and non – powered. A comprehensive Safe Equipment Compliance inspection includes all of your forklift - forks & chains measured to manufacturers specifications, warning decals, operators manual etc, brakes, seat, seat belt, lights (if required), load plate, tyres etc. We are locally owned and operated and this means we can make decision that other companies can’t. Our service offering is personalised to your needs which is backed up by the most experienced forklift specialist in NZ. Keeping you operational is our focus, we will “lend” you a forklift if you need one.
