Meet Bryce Church, who leads quoting and technical support at Adlux.

As part of the family behind Adlux, Bryce started with the business in 2004, working in the factory manufacturing and installing roof windows.

These days, Bryce quotes our larger and more complex projects and is the in-house technical support contact for architects. He also works on product development for our range of roof windows.

Bryce is particularly proud of developing the Harmony range and bringing it to market. He’s also built our in-house specification and quoting tool, which takes the complexity out of specifying custom overhead glazing and has significantly improved our response times.

A little milestone for Adlux across the Tasman

This week Matthew caught up with Tim from Emerald Building Services at their Mornington Passive House project, where our first Harmony Roof Windows supplied to Australia had arrived on site.

As our first Australian customer, the team back in New Zealand thought the occasion deserved to be marked with a certificate of recognition.

Great to see the first Harmony units on site in Australia, and even better to have them going into a Passive House project.

Thanks to Tim and the Emerald team for backing Adlux as we take our first steps into the Australian market.

A striking addition to the Forrester Gallery in Oamaru.

Designed by Tilt Architecture and built by Naylor Love, the new addition is connected to the existing building by a double-storey breezeway featuring a custom Harmony Array overhead.

The roof glazing brings natural light deep into the connection space, with the changing sunlight casting dramatic patterns across the Oamaru stone walls throughout the day.

A great example of how overhead glazing can become part of the architecture, not just a source of daylight.

Harmony in the high country.

While travelling through Tekapo last week, it was great to drive past a few projects featuring Harmony Roof Windows, especially after fresh snow that morning.

A beautiful result for this bach renovation at Waihi Beach. Two Adlux Harmony Roof Windows installed above the kitchen help fill the space with light and create a greater sense of openness.

These days his focus is on business development and product development, working with architects and builders on everything from building-code and thermal-performance presentations through to project-specific product and detailing recommendations.
