Meet Alex Hacker, our South Island Construction Equipment Sales Representative.

With a background in both technical support and sales, Alex works with customers across the South Island to help them find the right machinery and attachments for the job.

Having worked with construction equipment for years, Alex understands how machines perform in the real world. Whether it's an excavator, attachment or light machine equipment, he's focused on helping customers find the best fit for their operation.

When he's not out visiting customers, you'll usually find Alex on the golf course or making the most of the mountains, whether it's summer or winter.

A few weeks on from Fieldays 2026, we're still looking back on what was a fantastic event for the Central Group team.

From the sunshine to the steady stream of people through the stand, this year's Fieldays was one to remember.

It was great catching up with customers we've worked with for years, meeting plenty of new faces, and hearing so much positivity about where the industry is heading.

One of our biggest highlights was taking a record number of orders directly from the stand. That's a fantastic result for the team, and we really appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by, ask questions and have a chat.

A big thank you to everyone who visited the Central Group stand. We always enjoy catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and connecting with the people who use our equipment every day.
