🏁 Official Announcement – Harris Race Cars SNZ Approved 🏁
It’s official!
Harris Race Cars is now Speedway New Zealand approved for Shineray engine rebuilding for Quarter Midgets.

The specifications and data developed by Gavin Hill at HPE will now form the standard across all rebuilders — meaning cam timing, ignition timing, and cylinder head machining will be fully standardised. This gives every racer confidence in consistency and performance.

As part of our rebuild service, we also offer initial engine start‑up and run‑in, just as we do for our TQ engines. It’s a proven step that gives customers peace of mind and ensures each engine is race‑ready on arrival.

If you’re running Quarter Midgets and want a reliable, compliant rebuild — or planning a refresh for the upcoming season — we’d love to help.
