Pre-pipe done right.

This is where the whole job gets decided — long before tiling, gib, or fixtures go in. Every valve set to height, every outlet centred off the setout, hot and cold exactly where the tapware needs it.

Rush this stage and you’re chasing problems for the rest of the build. Get it right and everything downstream just works.

Setout on the wall, laser level running, every rough-in checked before it’s locked in behind the gib.

The part no one sees in the finished bathroom — the part that makes or breaks it.

This old cylinder was failing and the safe tray drain had never been connected — sending overflow straight under the house instead of to the waste line. We replaced the cylinder, valves and reconfigured the pipework, correctly plumbed the tray, and got the whole install fitted into a seriously tight understairs cavity.

We were called out to investigate ceiling moisture issues with no obvious cause. After a bit of fault-finding, we traced it back to strong nor’easterly winds driving water up under the roof sheets.

85m of flashings later, job sorted.

LOW PRESSURE ➡️ MAINS PRESSURE

Out with the old Rheem low pressure cylinder, in with a new mains pressure vitreous enamel unit — full new valve set, tempering, and pipework done right.

Hi-spec brief. Hi-spec finish.

We stripped this Remuera home back and re-did the lot — full house repipe, new water heaters, three bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. Brushed tapware, freestanding baths, wall-mounted everything, and nothing on show that shouldn’t be.

A quick flashing job ticked off

Custom soaker flashing supplied and delivered by the boys .nz installed over an existing asbestos vent pipe to tidy things up and keep everything watertight with a new decktite. While we were there we also shortened the old low pressure HWC vent that had been held up with wire stays, then installed and tested a new pressure reducing & relief valves.
