📣 📣 It's the end of an era, but also the start of an exciting new chapter for GER!

After 36 years in business, we are bringing our business ownership journey to an end, and it's only fitting, that we'd look to join forces with another long standing business in the industry, and as of 2nd September 2024, GER Engine Specialists and Taylor Automotive are amalgamating.

Scott, John & the team will be heading across to their Grafton location in the coming weeks to join the Taylor's team under the ownership of Harley Taylor & Paul Brooker.

This will mean increased experience, a wider range of machinery and equipment, and an increased capacity to continue to deliver top quality service!

We'd like to thank our customers for their continued business over the last 36 years and we hope to continue working with you, just from a different location!

We'd also like to say a massive thank you to our team: Dan, Frank, Jordan & Matty - without you, we wouldn't be where we are today and we are so grateful to each of you! It's awesome that we'll continue to work together going forward.

And finally to John & Rachel - AKA Mum & Dad - without your hard work and dedication for a huge part of this 36 years - we would never have had the opportunity to do what we've done - Thank you 🙌

🔷 If you have a current job in with us, if we haven't already been in touch... we will be in touch in the coming days to ensure a seamless transition for you.

🔷 If you have any upcoming jobs you want done, please give us a call and we can advise on timeframes and which location we'll be able to take care of it from.

When fitting a new clutch it is highly recommended that the flywheel is re-faced and most clutch manufacturers will require this as part of their warranty.

We can machine both flat and recessed flywheels to give them a like-new surface, ensuring they are not only flat, but also have the correct surface finish to aid "bedding in" of the new clutch.

From small flywheels right through to large truck flywheels, we can generally provide a same day turnaround (Depending on workload).
