Keeping the old-school Safari look 👏🏼

The brief for this GQ was to add a winch while keeping the factory chrome bars and making it look as original as possible.

So rather than replacing the whole setup, we built a custom winch cradle around what was already there — keeping the classic look while making it properly usable.

Custom snorkel, airbox & intake setup finished up on this GQ Safari 🤘🏼

4” stainless snorkel feeding into a fully custom alloy airbox, along with a custom intake pipe to tie the whole setup together.

Everything built to make the most of the available space while keeping it tucked in nice and tidy.

Really happy with how this one came together — especially how well the snorkel follows the factory lines of the truck.

Bit of an introduction for all the new faces around here 👋🏼

I’m Riki, the bloke behind Goskee Customs.

I started Goskee Customs this year as a weekend side business, taking on the sort of fabrication work I genuinely enjoy — custom 4WD work, stainless exhausts, snorkels, airboxes, bar work and one-off fabrication in aluminium, stainless and steel.

I’m a mechanic by trade and spend my weekdays on the tools, then most weekends you’ll find me in the shed building something for Goskee Customs… or out putting my own gear through its paces 🤙🏼

The page has grown a fair bit lately, so a massive thanks to everyone who’s followed along, shared my work, recommended me or trusted me with their builds. It’s been awesome seeing what started as a small side project continue to grow.

Plenty more builds to come.
