More exports to the islands.

I am amazed at how much we send to the Pacific Islands via trans shippers here in Auckland, in this case to The Boat Yard in Tonga where our client is using FSS Services in Mangere. https://www.boatyardvavau.com/

We sell only for delivery to NZ addresses but can supply you anywhere in the pacific.

2026 Racing Season about to start!
After a winter focussed on selling stuff the hard work is about to be rewarded with the start of the new Historic Formula Ford racing season

This season we'll also be racing with the youngsters in the North Island Formula Ford (NIFF) series. Formula Ford launched the careers of many youngsters such as Craig Baird, Scott Dixon and even Liam Lawson on their international careers.

So if you want to see old men in old cars do battle with the youngsters come along to a meeting. You'd be surprised at how competitive against newer cars our old cars can be.

And of course a lot of the 'old guys' are Formula Ford champions from the 70's and 80's who are are still doing it! One of our competitors Stephen O'Donohue will be starting his 43rd season in the very same car!

Oh and don't forget to buy stuff from our website before you come out and watch.

Drivon Vehicle Transport - happy TDS Customer.

It's actually not often we see customers using our products so it was great when Kester of Drivon Vehicle Transport rang to say he was in Auckland and left his Lashing Straps behind and wanted to pick some more up.

So he ordered for pickup on his phone, then called by to pick them up and tied the car down he was hauling to a client in Palmy.

It is really easy to buy stuff from us so if you need stuff to tie stuff down, just do it.

Regular customers do interesting things and one of them is Equipt of Mangere who are a hire company specialising in Civil Construction and Access equipment.

These are the types of businesses that help us all get things done and are often overlooked when we see big infrastructure projects being built around the country.

As a major supplier to all sorts of industries (BIG and small) we like to think we do our bit, but of course we couldn't do what we do without customers like Equipt to help us.

Great service, fast response times and quality machinery. Book your next job with the best machine hire specialists in Auckland. Excavators, Skid Steer Loaders, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts and more. Delivery available.

Tyre Lashing Straps are back in stock!!

After selling out in record time we have more stock on hand now in our Auckland warehouse and more on the way.

I never thought we would sell these when I first put them in our product range but again I have been proven wrong because we have to keep increasing our order size every time we order them from our supplier as they just keep selling!

If you have been waiting for them get your order in now as our next shipment will be more expensive thanks to Mr Trump and Bibi and their war with Iran (the strap base material is petoleum based).

Go to ur website and buy and we will ship the following day for you.

Turn your 50mm ratchet into an effective wheel tie down system with one of our Soft Lashing Straps. Strap is 500mm long x 40mm wide. If you haven't got a 50mm ratchet buy one long with the Soft Lashing Strap to make a cost effective and versatile lashing system. Made of the same high grade material....

Loose Load Day in Wyoming

Today I witnessed a piece of furniture falling off a small trailer as a car went over the tram tracks at MOTAT here in Auckland.

Fortunately it was at low speed and no one was hurt other than the drivers pride.

But it reminded me that a while ago I saw that the Wyoming Police have a Loose Load Day, one day a year where they try to get the message across about the dangers of unsecure loads.

Check out the video of what could happen to you and then place your order online with us before you venture out to pick up that couch or take load of rubbish to the dump!

Unsecured loads are a major safety hazard. Loose items can fall off...

A remarkable run of sales means we are temporarily out of stock of our Wheel Lashing Straps. I can't believe how many of these we sell around the country!

Fortunately they are light so we have managed to get some airfreighted from our supplier and they will be arriving about the 3rd of July.

In the meantime check out the rest of our products which are all in stock and available to ship from our Auckland warehouse within 24 hours of receiving your order.

We love Farmer Jays hints and info on rural America, especially his guide to using a ratchet.

Go to his channel for other interesting stuff but make sure you buy your ratchets from The Tie Down Shop first!

Ratchet straps are incredibly handy devices, and they are even hard...
