Drivon Vehicle Transport - happy TDS Customer.

It's actually not often we see customers using our products so it was great when Kester of Drivon Vehicle Transport rang to say he was in Auckland and left his Lashing Straps behind and wanted to pick some more up.

Loose Load Day in Wyoming

Today I witnessed a piece of furniture falling off a small trailer as a car went over the tram tracks at MOTAT here in Auckland.

Fortunately it was at low speed and no one was hurt other than the drivers pride.

But it reminded me that a while ago I saw that the Wyoming Police have a Loose Load Day, one day a year where they try to get the message across about the dangers of unsecure loads.

Unsecured loads are a major safety hazard. Loose items can fall off...

What happened to summer?

Taupo was cold and miserable to start with but fantastic once the fog cleared.

Great day for racing and promoting our products to the many racers who buy ratchets, lashing straps and the product that started it all, Recessed Tie Down fittings.

I started importing Recessed Tie Down fittings after buying some for my own trailer and being annoyed at how much they cost.

The rest as they say is history as our product and customer range has increased year on year continuing to deliver quality products at great value.

Our latest shipment is on it's way and includes yet another customer requested product, 50mm x 9 mtr continuous ratchets that the want to use to tie crane components down inside containers for export.

We'll post sme information when they arrive, in the meantime enjoy Race 3 of the weekends racing!
