⚪️ The EK Civic: Came in blowing smoke. We found metal in the oil (bad news). Solution? Engine out, rebuild then engine back in. Problem solved.

⚫️ The CL7 Accord: Slipping clutch, and a noisy drive train. We swapped the axles and replaced the clutch. And since the tr**ny was already on the floor, we deep-cleaned it before it went back in. It’s the JDM Powerhouse way. 🧼✨

We recently welcomed this into JDM Powerhouse NZ under an insurance job after suffering a blown engine. While the initial goal was to get it back on the road, our team went the extra mile to ensure it left our workshop performing at its absolute peak.

Alongside a full engine replacement, we installed and configured a Link Standalone ECU, followed by a precise dyno tune to ensure the car runs perfectly.

The result? A very happy owner and a 350Z that feels sharper than before. 🔧⚙️

A big shoutout to Prime Towing for the safe transport and Tune_Technic for their assistance in the tuning process. Teamwork makes the dream work.

There’s something special about unlocking the potential of a Japanese V8 muscle, the Lexus ISF

This ISF rolled into JDM Powerhouse for a performance ELATE MFG. header install, and the owner did it right by replacing the engine mounts, starter, and oxygen sensor while we were in there. A smart move, given these cars are nearing 20 years old and many of those components are either crusty or on their last legs.

Big thanks to Club Lexus New Zealand for the ongoing support. We love being part of a community that truly appreciates these machines.
