Whipped up a second shelf for my Green Mountain Grills peak prime last week . Gave it a run at comp on some chicken , it did not disappoint 👌🏻

Went down to the NZ Barbecue Alliance Mitre 10 New Zealand carpark cook off today , last minute decision to show my mate Radu the ropes for competition. Ran him through the full methods for half chicken and ribs with some slight hiccups on the way as great teaching moment on how to never give up till it’s in the box 😂 we ran Four Monkeys on everything and it went well ! Good old Heat Beads BBQ lump for fuel in our drums for that clean burning heat 👌🏻
I’ll be looking forward to seeing him head out to one of these solo next year .

Full stainless build ! This prototype is going to be put through its paces over the next few weeks. These drums have a welded and polished bottom, so the side blends into the base seamlessly. Hyped to see how this one performs 🔥
