Get your hands on this one-of-a-kind showstopper display, and take home a piece of history!

Authentic 1:4 scale tank test hull from Team New Zealand’s 2003 America’s Cup ‘Loyal’ campaign, displaying the controversial winged keel bulb and HULA (‘hull appendage’) featured on the infamous NZL-82. Constructed primarily from wood, ~6 metres long, and believed to be one of only five ever made.

This hull was in storage for many years following the 2003 Cup, before being moved to Sailors Supplies in June 2021 and put on display in the store’s showroom, where it currently resides.

It would be perfectly suited for a museum or educational institute, or for a private collector/historian with sufficient space for this big and beautiful taonga.

Flag bunting not included, but can be negotiated.

Previously known as Spectraspeed, this tough and lightweight rope has a dyneema core for super low stretch, and a hard wearing HT Polyester jacket. Ideal for halyards, sheets, guys, control lines, out/downhauls, runner tails, vang, reefing and furling systems, and any other application where minimal stretch is a must.
